This new role will be pivotal in establishing a new centre of excellence in the response to stalking.

Following a successful bid to the Police Transformation Fund, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust will be coordinating work across three areas in the UK to share learning and best practice in the testing of interventions for stalking perpetrators. The London Stalking Threat Assessment Centre will bring together partners including the Metropolitan Police, mental health services, probation, and the CPS; and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust Stalking Advocate will be crucial in ensuring the voice of the victim, and their safety and wellbeing is central to the work.

The successful candidate will be a specialist in supporting high-risk victims of stalking and have an extensive knowledge of the mechanisms available to manage and mitigate risk. They will be skilled in working constructively with multi-agency colleagues and will be responsive to new learning opportunities.

As this role is part of a ground-breaking new project, it is expected that the successful candidate will significantly contribute to the development of the STAC and will also play a key role in sharing the learning from this project with stakeholders throughout the UK and globally.
