The Scottish Government is currently consulting on issues around creating a Fairer Scotland. Further devolved powers under the Smith Commission recommendations will include support for those seeking work as well as some aspects of social security.
In order to fully respond to the consultations, the SWC is conducting a survey so that women’s voices can influence the discussions around the consultations which are out at the moment.
The SWC is also planning a consultation event for women, which will be held in Glasgow on Saturday 5th September to discussion the questions contained within the survey in more detail. For further information, please telephone 0141 339 4797 or email .
