Monday 5th February, 2 pm-5 pm, London Plan Equalities Event, City Hall
SAVE THE DATE for an event to explore how the Mayor’s London Plan tackles inequalities across London. The event is called by Just Space, “Our Way Ahead” and a number of equality networks. The aim is to raise awareness of what the London Plan proposes, share views, concerns and ideas, identify common issues that can all be raised in the consultation and support each other in making representations on this very significant document. The event is for members of equality networks, user groups that are equality based and community groups that experience social inequality. Many of the problems Londoners face are cross-cutting, intersectional and require an integrated approach.
The event is in collaboration with the GLA as part of their consultation on the London Plan.
The City Hall venue is wheelchair accessible and BSL Interpreters and a palantypist can be provided if requested.
Places are limited and we will allocate spaces to ensure a breadth of engagement from across the various equality networks. To secure a place, please register your interest asap by emailing the Just Space Coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name, your organisation’s name, from whom you received the invitation, and any access requirements you have to take part in the event. Refreshments will be served.
Further information, including an agenda, will be sent out closer to the date for those booked to attend.
