Women in Prison have an exciting opportunity to join their Mental Health Team working within HMP Bronzefield.

This role will involve providing advocacy, support, and advice services to women affected by the criminal justice system, both in prison and the community in the South of England, who have a diagnosed severe and enduring mental health support need or a significant history of traumatic life experience.  You will develop both individual and group based interventions with women, formulating care plans and facilitating groups.

Significant experience of working with vulnerable women and experience of the mental health sector as well as the impact of imprisonment on women is essential.

A qualification at level NVQ3 or equivalent in a related field is also required.

You will need to demonstrate a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a differences to vulnerable women’s lives.
