Training: Writing Successful Funding Proposals

Who is it for?

Organisations that want to learn about how to improve their grant applications.

Module 1 [10am-12.30pm]

What’s it about?

This two part course complementary course will enable you to understand funders’ criteria, the key features of a good funding proposal and the evidence funders require to demonstrate effectiveness.

What will I take away?

  • How to define ‘need’ and the ‘problems’ of your service users with clarity and focus to funders
  • Types of evidence funders are looking for
  • An understanding of the difference between outputs and outcomes

Module 2 [1-4pm]

What’s it about?

This module will pull together and clarify all the key components of a successful funding proposal.

What will I take away?

  • Greater understanding of the key questions funders ask
  • How to set a budget for your project
  • Top tips on writing for success

×This training is FUNDED for Voluntary and Community organisations and Social Enterprises based in London.

If you do not fulfill the above criteria the following applies:

If your organisation is a Member of WRC you will need to pay £25 for the full day,

If your organisation is not a member of WRC you will need to pay £50 for the full day.
