Register
TIME

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Women's Resource Centre,
United House, ,

Who is it for?

Organisations that are new to the concept of sustainable funding and diversifying their income streams.

Module 1 [9:30-12:30]

What’s it about?

Grants to women’s organisations are reducing rapidly; in order to be resilient in this economic climate it is important to actively engage with a diverse range of income streams. Module 1 will explain the concept of sustainable funding and will demonstrate the important link between effective planning and long term sustainability. It will also introduce you to how to raise voluntary income from individuals.

What will I take away?

  • Tools and resources to support you in your planning process
  • A clear step by step process for developing voluntary income from individuals.

Module 2 [13:00 – 16:00]

What’s it about?

Module 2 will go on to explore commissioning and social enterprise as ways to diversify your organisation’s income. You will also have the opportunity to consider which different funding streams would be the most appropriate for your organisation.

What will I take away?

  • Understanding of the process of commissioning and developing social enterprise
  • A comprehensive list of resources for developing social enterprise
  • A tool for exploring your different options
