Training: Fast Track to Successful Fundraising

November THU 24th
Register
TIME

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Women's Resource Centre, United House,
United House,
London

Who is it for?

The nature of fundraising and the climate in which we fundraise has developed radically over the last few years. In order for an organisation to successfully generate income in today’s competitive environment, it is important to have a good understanding of fundraising.  This course will help you to identify different stages involved in fundraising, and introduce you to the various types of funders and fundraising styles. It will also help you to start exploring the type of funding that best suits your organisation.

What is it about?

Understanding our prospective funder and their specific objectives at the early stages is a key factor in taking the funding proposal to the next level and leading to a successful application and relationship with the funder. This module will enable you to think outside the box, understand the tools and resources needed to fundraise effectively, and provide you with in-depth knowledge to help determine which type of funder and fundraising style best suits your organisation.

What will I take away?

– Understanding of fundraising

– Identifying the different types of fundraising

– Knowledge of the different stages of the fundraising cycle

– Resources and tools needed for fundraising

– Knowledge of how to select and target funders effectively

– Effective ways to understand a funder

– Understanding of the role of monitoring and evaluation
