Strategic Planning

March TUE 1
Register
TiME

10:00AM-4:00PM Women's Resource Centre, United House, , London

Who is it for?

Organisations that want to improve their planning skills and develop a strategic plan.

What’s it about?

Financial sustainability begins not with funding, but with strategic planning – before organisations start thinking about money, they need to decide exactly what their mission, aims and goals are and plan how they will achieve these. A good strategic plan will enable you to work more effectively, assess which income streams are appropriate to pursue and help persuade funders to support you. This course looks at the planning process, developing your ‘mission statement’, deciding on your options and writing your plan.

What will I take away?

  • A step by step guide to the planning process
  • Methods for assessing the strengths and weaknesses of your organisation
  • Practical tools and techniques for developing the plan

These courses are FUNDED if you are an organisation or project based in London working with those affected by sexual and domestic violence.

If you do not fulfill the above criteria the following applies:
If your organisation is a Member of WRC you will need to pay £25 for the full day
If your organisation is not a member of WRC you will need to pay £50 for the full day
Please read our Training Policies about cancellations, late arrivals, etc. here.
