Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre is a well-established voluntary organisation that provides a range of services primarily to South Asian women in and around Camden including information and advice, support and advocacy, education and training and a range of services to children and families.

 

Hopscotch is currently recruiting Employment Advisors for an exciting new  Big Lottery / ESF funded employment project working with disadvantaged BAME women who face multiple barriers to work.

We are looking for experienced and proactive Employment Advisors to work on the Women at the centre project delivering employment support and training to disadvantaged BAME women across various community locations in six London Boroughs in Central London. You will understand the difficulties that long term unemployed or economically inactive women face and work with them to overcome any barriers to employment and/or training, supporting them to access the employment opportunities available to them. With excellent communication skills and a background in providing advice and guidance; you will be able to work with women from different backgrounds and respond to clients with varying employment support needs.
