Description:
We are offering placement for Advance Diploma Trainee or qualified counsellor working towards accreditation to provide counselling for our staff. We are looking for someone who wants to work with our staff in our organisation as we have a room available for counselling for 3 hours a week on Thursdays.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma trainee counsellor or qualified counsellor or working towards accreditation
  • Enrolment on a recognised, accredited psychotherapy, psychology or counselling course
  • A recognised trainee registration with a regulating body such as the HCPC, BPS, BACP or UKCP
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (trainee status)
  • A good practical knowledge of the BACP ethical framework for counselling and psychotherapy
  • An interest in trauma and/or domestic violence
  • Have their own supervisor

Placement Duties:

  • Delivering psychological interventions to our Staff
  • Carrying out assessment
  • Delivering one to one counselling
