Are you a third sector, voluntary or community organisation that provides frontline Violence Against Women and Girls services in the London  Tri-Borough area (Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith and Fulham), across London or on a national level?
If so, the Tri-Boroughs would like to hear from you.

The Tri-Boroughs (TB) are currently in the process of co-commissioning a VAWG service framework and as part of this they will be procuring a VAWG Integrated Support Service. They would like your input into the proposed service model.

There are a number of ways for your organisation and service users to get involved in this consultation process. There will be three events, service-user forums and opportunities to provide written feedback between 6th August and 5th September 2014.

The consultation schedule is as follows:

1.) Wednesday 06 August (2-5pm, venue in RBKC to be confirmed). This session will be co-facilitated by RBKC Council officers and the Imkaan/Women’s Aid Partnership and will cover the following:

  •  Review of the TB VAWG Transition Programme, the 2014 VAWG Needs Assessment and future TB VAWG Strategic Priorities
  • Overview of current VAWG services delivered locally and Pan-London
  • Proposed VAWG Integrated Support Service key principles/ Model
  • Break-out sessions to review the proposed model and feedback any suggestions.

2.) Wednesday 03 September (2-5pm, venue in RBKC to be confirmed). This session will be facilitated by the Imkaan/Women’s Aid Partnership and is an opportunity for VAWG providers to anonymously feedback further on the proposed model and to discuss potential partnerships to deliver the model.

3.) Wednesday 24 September (10-12 pm, venue in RBKC to be confirmed).

There will be a final feedback session for TB commissioners to outline the final VAWG Service Model based on the consultation process, with opportunities for Q&A about the procurement process and timeline.
In addition, Imkaan/Women’s Aid Partnership will organise two open forums in community venues where survivors can feedback on the model and organisations will be encouraged to bring service-users along. You will be contacted with further information about this opportunity in due course.

Places are limited to two delegates per organisation. The presentation delivered in the first session on 6 August will be available from 07 August – 05 September for written feedback.
