Description: FORWARD is organising a one day accredited training course to increase knowledge, awareness and understanding for professionals on the practise of FGM.
This training will also strengthen competency and skills and explore multi-agency working in relation to effective responses to safeguarding and supporting those affected. The training is aimed at GPs, midwives, nurses, social workers, teachers, voluntary organisations and key staff at any agency involved in treating and supporting women and girls affected by FGM or at the risk of FGM.
