The South-East London Domestic Abuse Tri-borough (SELDAT) project is seeking to recruit 3 part-time No Recourse to Public Funds Officers to work in Croydon, Bromley or Bexley.
The post holders will provide support services to vulnerable women with no access to public funds who reside in domestic abuse refuges, and will support and reach out to women with no recourse to public funds in the community in need of domestic abuse specialist services.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate a good awareness of the needs and issues specific to women with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), and the specific challenges that working with these clients might bring; understanding of the effects of domestic abuse and the specific issues around women with immigration issues.
The post holders should be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, and in the provision of high quality advocacy and support based upon a client-led needs and risk assessment.

Hours: 17.5 per week (0.5 FTE)
