Women and Girls Network (WGN) is recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) for our West London Rape Crisis Service. The ISVA will provide high quality specialist support to women who have experienced recent or non-recent sexual violence and who have complex needs.
The ideal post holder will be experienced in working within a multi-agency framework to provide direct and dedicated advocacy support to women survivors of sexual violence, including experience of supporting survivors who report to the police. If you have the proven ability of supporting women to access the support and services they need and in making safe and informed choices within an empowering framework then we would like to hear from you.
The post is part of an innovative project funded by the Home Office and the Mayors Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC). The project will pilot a new referral route into sexual violence services in London and enhance support for survivors who have complex needs. The post holder will support survivors in West London and work with other complex needs ISVAs in partner agencies across London to share best practice and learning.
WGN will provide regular clinical supervision as well as access to WGN’s on-going CPD programme and the opportunity to work in a leading multi-cultural feminist organisation.

This post is based in Hammersmith & Fulham (working across West London and involving travel across London)
