Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a specialist therapeutic service leading in developing and delivering innovative and effective counselling services for women and girls who have experienced all forms of gender-based violence.
They aim to ensure they are proactive in developing specialist services which meet the needs of all the women and girls who access their services. WGN seek a freelance practitioner who will thrive in a multi-cultural feminist environment.
The role of the clinical supervisor is to assist in the development of reflective practice, to support counsellors to maximise the effectiveness of the therapeutic relationship. To monitor and safeguard the interests of the client in accordance with WGN policies and ethical standards of practice. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Professional qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy
- BACP accreditation / UKCP accredited
- Supervision qualification
- Experience of providing individual and group clinical supervision
- Experience of supervising multidisciplinary teams
- Expertise in the issues affecting women affected by gender-based violence
This post is based across Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Southwark (and involves travel across London).
Interviews will be held on: Tuesday 13th or Wednesday 14th February 2018
